ast week of now, i m still in the hotel room with jasmine and humaira, gossiping abt almost everything we can thought of haha... and seriously after the trip to vietnam, i got to understand more abt life, the true colours of some people and many other interesting facts which each of us would nv noe if one didnt reveal =)
well that's life i guess, when u dun expect something to happen, it DID! and is under the most unexpected situation.
well, vietnam trip was quite enjoyable, if only those "downs" didnt even happen, it will definitely be the most enjoyable trip to overseas with my friends, at least for now =DD
visited the local university and realised that singaporean students were realli lucky and spoilt brat too. i tot that at least for their university, it would be well-equiped and with eye opened infrastructure... i was totally wronged.

They do not have air con for their classrooms, library nor their staff room i guess... their lift is really cramp and stuffy and the equipments such as the computers wasnt tat up-to-date...imagine the building is 9 stories and the lift is only for 2 stories and we have to climb up for the rest... we are complaining just for tat few mins we experience with the stairs, and the students there is climbing that stairs almost everyday! i can only sae they really have tat determination and patience and tats the thing i admire abt them.


Of course, the people there were really really hardworking, be it a kid, a student, a working adult or even a low class citizen would go for nite classes after their daily work in the day. they either upgrade themselves or learning new languages as most of the companies require an extra foreign language and to them, it is impt to noe at least one or two more foreign languages or they will lose out to the strong competitive society.




Besides, we visited the different companies lyk FPT, Phu My Hung, Saigon Hi-Tech park and CyberSoft and wat's raised my interest was the unique corporate culture of FPT. The relationship they have in the whole company was not employee and employer but friends and family. They are just lyk one super BIG family where they treat each other lyk brothers and sisters. their bonding is really great and i tik singapore's company shld adopt this kind of corporate culture they have and thus, having a better working environment. =DD




we paid a visit to the Thien Phuoc Orphanage too which i could sae, the trip to the centre was realli a fruitful one...it realli teaches mi alot of things an made mi understand more abt humans and abt life... We Really Can Complain No More, Be Glad and Be Satisfied of What You Have Now.... Cherish it...
though it was said tat the kid there were either disabled or mentally disabled, they are still so fun-loving and adorable. Their innocence is what we always hope for and they lead a very very simple life which all of us envy of... they can laugh becos of a small sribble they made on the paper, they can smile just becos we scribble with them... they are satisfied with just small actions we gave, be it a hug or a wide smile back to them...seriously, i m really envy with the life they led though they may be very poor and living in a very bad condition with no such things as computers, handphones, radio or even a television...

my tear nearly gust out when i saw the kids and tot back the sufferings they had tried to overcome...i do feel for them and it's not a kind of sympathy feeling but hurt... they are still so young and just becos of the poison which had overturned they life, the possible career and bring future they may have...just becos of the selfish acts of the past generations which had ruin the innocent lifes... it's realli a pity...




the only sight seeing we had was the cu chi tunnel, war meuseum and the post office...the cu chi tunnel was indeed a brillant underground infrastructure.. u never know how many things they actually can do underground! damn interesting in understanding their history but at the same time, felt depressing when you saw the pictures of innocent lifes being shot to death, brutally tortured and the before death expressions...it's really really heart-sanking for each picture i look at in the meuseum...i m the fortunate one...




not forgetting the shopping trip we made to the Ben Thanh Market and the nite market beside our hotel each nite... had lots of fun bargaining and for sure, our bargain skills improved tremendously after this trip... bought lots of prezies back and and diarrhoea LOL!! the food there really dun suits mi i guess... hmmm... i hope there are more to go for these kind of trip or rather just a trip for a few close friends would be enough =DDD
